How accurate is it?
Near-human accuracy on clear audio. Heavy accents, crosstalk and noisy rooms reduce quality, and you can fix anything line by line in the browser. The demo above is unedited output — judge it yourself before you pay.
How long does transcription take?
Most files finish in under five minutes. Files over two hours can take ten to fifteen. The page updates on its own, so you can leave it open or come back later.
What languages are supported?
The language is detected automatically on every upload, and you can pick one at checkout for better accuracy. Same price, same speed, same editor in all of them — including English, Spanish, German, French, Norwegian, Japanese, Mandarin, Arabic and Hindi.
What file types are supported?
MP3, WAV, M4A, MP4, FLAC, OGG, WebM and Opus. Phone recordings (M4A) and video files (MP4) work as they are — there is nothing to convert first.
How does the $2.00 per hour pricing work?
$2.00 per hour of audio or video, billed per minute, with a $2.00 minimum per file. A 15-minute file and a 55-minute file both cost $2.00. A 90-minute file costs $3.00. There is no subscription and no monthly fee.
Do I have to buy credits?
No. There are no credit packs and nothing to top up or use before it expires. You pay for a file when you transcribe it, and if you never come back you are never charged again.
What if a transcription fails?
It costs you nothing. The money is only taken once the transcript is ready, so nothing leaves your account for a file that does not finish.
What happens to my audio afterwards?
Audio is kept for 90 days from your last sign-in by default. You choose the period on the upload you are paying for — anything from delete-immediately to 90 days — and that choice becomes the default for your next one. The transcript itself stays in your account until you delete it.
Can I edit a transcript after it finishes?
Yes. Open it, click into a block and type. Cmd+Enter saves, Escape reverts. Speaker labels are editable too — rename “Speaker A” to “Marcos” once and every block updates.
