A friend asked if I could help with a transcription. He had looked at a few services, but the prices were much higher than he expected. When I looked for myself, I understood why he’d asked.
I started researching how transcription works and what it costs to run. The technology was far more affordable than the plans we’d been looking at. I thought there was room for a simpler, fairly priced option. So I built one. That became TranscribeCat.
